About the event
Calling all 11-14 year olds! Are you interested in trying out martial arts? Learn exciting self-defence moves, led by certified instructor Sensei Cornelius.
What is Judo?
Judo (the gentle way) is an old Japanese martial art, a form of self-defence, a way of physical and
mental self control, and last but not least, an Olympic sport.
Event Date: October 25 (PRO-D)
Time: 11:00am - 12:30pm
Location: Revelstoke Legion (600 1st Street West, Revelstoke, BC.)
Ages: 11-14 years old
What to Expect:
Learn basic techniques and start (or improve) your judo game with an expert coach.
Meet new friends and bond with fellow judokas through fun challenges.
Judo is a contact sport. Be ready to physically interact with each other.
No experience is required and we welcome all levels.
What to Bring:
Wear comfortable stretchy clothes.
Bring sandals or flip flops to wear around the building.
If you have long hair, please bring a hair band to tie it back.

In order to participate, everyone must sign up AND fill out the waiver below. Once the waiver is completed, please send it to info@stokeyouthnetwork.ca OR bring a hard copy on the day of. Youth will not be able to join without this waiver being signed.
