Stoke Youth Network’s Environmental Action Team will be hosting a clothing swap and the RSS leadership team will have an assortment of games to enjoy!

Just a couple of shredders out there!

A whopping 49 grade 6 & 7’s have signed up for this year’s ShredHERS and ShredCOED mountain bike rides.

Huge shout out to @bikerevelstoke, @wanderingwheels, and SD19 teacher volunteers for the collaborative efforts in getting this many kids on bikes.

The program is free to youth in Revelstoke thanks to our generous sponsors at @revelstokecreditunion and @bchydro!

That's a wrap on on this year's Pottery Club! Huge thanks to Revelstoke Secondary School and Mrs. Browning for hosting us once again.

Book Clubbers, our next meeting date is Tuesday Dec 10th from 3:30-4:30!

Due to the busy holiday season in the shops, we will meet in the common area after school and head to a coffee shop for a hot drink, sweet treat and good conversation about our current read.

We are always looking to build connections and create a sense of belonging within our small community.

This group of teens is nothing short of exceptional. With 1 hour per week dedicated to climate action they have accomplished BIG things.

Revelstoke, our youth want to enhance our local ecosystem!

The Environmental Action Team is looking for businesses and community organizations to support the “Adopt-A-Tree” project by planting a native plant to benefit our local ecosystem. Not only do these plants look beautiful, they provide a home and a source of food to bugs, birds and bees.

Parks Canada is hosting a Revelstoke pride celebration this weekend!

Stoke Youth Network and @communityconnectionsrevelstoke will be at the Snowforest Campground on May 11th with bracelet and button making supplies from 12 - 4pm. Stop by for music, games, guided nature walks, and more!

Let’s go girls! Awesome first ride with the ShredHERS crew last week. Tomorrow is our first ShredCOED ride and we are so looking forward to having everyone together!

This grade 6/7 mountain bike program is open to all youth whether it’s your first time or you are an experienced rider. The goal is to get out there and have fun in a supportive environment.

Huge thanks to @bikerevelstoke for their partnership in making this program happen, @wanderingwheels for their supportive coaches, @revelstokecreditunion for their funding that makes this program FREE and all the amazing teachers from SD19 that come out to mentor!

Youth Mountain Biking

ShredHERS & ShredCOED

The Stoke Youth Network and Revelstoke Cycling Association are excited to offer a series of group rides for grade 6 and 7 students! The weekly rides will be lead by professional mountain bike guides at Wandering Wheels and supported by teachers, parents, and mentors from the high school mountain bike club. There will be limited bike rentals available to those who do not have a bike.

ShredHERS is for self-identifying girls in grades 6 & 7. This is coached by female instructors and no experience is necessary. The aim of this program is to encourage all levels of riders to get out on their bikes, have fun and build lasting confidence in the sport of mountain biking.

Dates: Tuesday April 29, May 13, May 27, and June 10

3 - 5:30pm

ShredCOED is for ALL grade 6 & 7 students. This will be coached by Wandering Wheels instructors and no biking experience is necessary. Levels will be split up so everyone is getting the appropriate challenge.

Dates: Tuesday May 6, May 20, June 3, and June 17
